The beginnings
Born in 2013, Remembering Marco celebrates the life and spirit of Marco Omiccioli—an Italian from Fano (PU) who made New York City his second home and built a bright future in fashion.
What began as an internship in the United States soon turned into an extraordinary journey. Marco’s life was tragically cut short in November 2013, when he passed away from kidney cancer, but his dream continues to inspire others around the world.

Moved by a deep desire to keep his memory alive, Marco’s wife, Annalisa Menin, transformed her grief into a meaningful mission: to help students and young entrepreneurs pursue and realize their own American Dream.
After an initial phase focused on supporting cancer research and an internship program at Valentino USA, Inc. in New York, the initiative evolved in 2024 into a global mentorship program dedicated to nurturing young entrepreneurs from around the world.
Each year, two projects are selected, and their founders are guided through a structured journey with clear goals and personalized support—turning promising ideas into solid, sustainable ventures.
